Our Staff!
For the past 15+ years, TASC has been led by Executive Director, Casey Brophy and Program Director, Marino Iandolo. Our staff is composed of TASC Counselors who provide an environment where the children feel safe, secure and are encouraged to grow socially and emotionally. The staff is also responsible for developing and implementing appropriate social and recreational activities suited to meet the needs of different age groups.
Many of our TASC counselors and volunteers are former TASC students, Tuckahoe Alumni and even current Tuckahoe High School students. Counselors have a passion for working with children, and enjoy building relationships in the TASC FAMILY community. Our counselors are also made up of many college students who are working towards their degrees in education who also work as aides and substitute teachers at the William E. Cottle School.
Directors:
For the past 15+ years, Casey Brophy and Marino Iandolo have been managing and operating the TASC program. Under their care, the TASC program has blossomed into a community staple. They have increased enrollment from 50 Tuckahoe families to 250 Tuckahoe families annually and have added an exciting summer camp program.
Executive Director
Casey Brophy grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Westchester County in 2002 to attend Concordia College, Bronxville. Coming from a family of educators, along with working at after school programs in high school, she immediately began to look for a job working with kids. In October of 2002, Casey began working as a counselor at TASC. Within two years, she was promoted to program director and has been with TASC ever since! Casey has a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and each school year she completes 30+ hours of education based training. Casey has many administrative roles at TASC, but daily she can be found overseeing the kindergarteners and first grades at the TASC Jr. program. When she's not at TASC, Casey works at Ripped Fitness and enjoys listening to podcasts and spending time with her family.
